A couple of weeks ago I had a sudden memory of one of my favorite childhood books. I can remember my two brothers and myself begging mom and dad to read this book to us over and over! It’s so much fun..it’s a Golden book called “There’s a Monster at the End of This Book.” It stars our loveable, furry Grover from Sesame Street.
I won’t ruin the ending for you, but rest assured that it is delightful! The message of this book is positive, too. The lesson is that we need to face our fears, even if we think they are insurmountable. A good lesson for adults, too!
Anyway, I got online and found a new copy on EBay for just $1. It came in the mail yesterday, and I think between Todd and myself we have read it at least fifty-seven times to Grace! She even wanted to sleep with it last night. And it is SO CUTE to hear her reading it to herself!

we love this book in our house! matt and i both had it as kids, and i got a copy before luke was born so we'd have it ready for him (and, i bought my new nephew a copy, too!).

My mom bought it for Bradford before he was born, and wrote a little note in it telling him that it was his mommy's favorite book when she was little!
I'm pretty sure that I adored that book as a kid myself. How sweet!
