Grace and I did Level 1this morning. Thanks to the suggestion of a reader, I stretched out my heel on the stairway before we started (Thanks, Kim!). It helped to start with, but by the third set of jumping jacks, the pain started shooting up my leg. So, much to Grace’s amusement, I finished the jumping jacks and jump rope sets on one leg.
I’m going to stretch out all over more from now on before I do Jillian’s workout. She includes a brief warm-up, but I don’t think it’s enough to avoid pulling one of my beginner muscles.
Tomorrow I am determined to get in some treadmill time…maybe it will work out the soreness.
