Dad went home this morning to comfort the family of an 18-yr-old young man, Jamie Purpera, who died in a car accident last night. See previous post for this story. When he arrived home he found out that another church member, Larry Creasy, who has been suffering from cancer, was not expected to live through the day.
Dad's church has been through so much lately. They are still trying to recover from Hurricane Gustav. Many have friends and family suffering through Hurricane Ike. Now, they are dealing with the loss of two church members.
Please pray that God will comfort and strengthen His people.
