Preschooler Quote of the Day

Every Sunday afternoon on the way home from church, we question Grace about what she learned.

Joanna:  “Grace, what did you learn about in Sunday School today?”

Grace:   (her stock answer) “Jesus.”

Joanna:  “Really?  What did Jesus do?”

Grace:   “Um….um….”

(I look at her Sunday School handout to see that she actually learned about the Apostle Paul today.)

Joanna:  “Did you learn about Paul?”

Grace:  (exasperated) “I don’t remember…I was playing around!”
