It was nice to get back into a routine this week. I’ve missed cooking my own meals and being in my own house! I used the treadmill most days, but I only did The Shred once. My original goal after finishing the 30-day challenge was to do it at least every other day. So, I need to get motivated to maintain my new muscles.
I’ve been playing around with the idea of trying something different just to make things interesting. I love Jillian’s workouts, so maybe I’ll check out some of her other videos. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Preferably ones that are 30 minutes or less and that focus on upper body since I’m going to continue the treadmill.
I lost two pounds this week, so that brings my total to 55 pounds in 24 weeks.
My monthly weigh-in/check-up went well last Friday. My blood pressure was good and the staff continued to be very encouraging to me. My doc did another routine blood panel just to be sure everything is still fine…sometimes when you lose a lot of weight quickly the thyroid can do weird things, so she just wanted to be safe. If anything is off, they’ll let me know.
