Grace has been asking for a play kitchen for over a year, but we’ve put off buying her one because we kept thinking that we would sell our home and we didn’t want to pack and move it! Since it doesn’t look like that’s happening anytime soon, we bought her one yesterday.
Five and half hours + one jammed thumb + one frustrated momma + one impatient 4-yr-old later, we had a beautiful kitchen!
Oh, the joy! She is SO HAPPY about her new kitchen. I am amazed that she was even able to sleep last night. Every little girl needs a play kitchen!
This is me, circa 1978, with my play kitchen that I remember so well!
And this is Grace, over 30 years later, with her new pride and joy.
