I’ve been eyeing these silicone baking mats for a while, and I finally took the plunge a few weeks ago. I like the idea of having an instant non-stick surface with minimal clean-up and no added fats or cooking sprays.
I chose to buy the Wilton Easy Flex Silicone Baking Mats. As a cake decorator, I trust Wilton products, and this did not disappoint.
I must say that they work perfectly! Nothing sticks to them! I’ve used the mats to bake cookies, bake biscuits, roll pastry dough, and roll fondant. When baking, I love that I don’t have to scrub a huge cookie sheet…I just rinse the baking mat and put the cookie sheet back in the cabinet!
Although I invested $8.99 per mat, in the long run it will probably save me money because I no longer use cooking spray when baking. And, it has definitely saved me time and energy!

Oh yes! I have 2 silpat mats and they work wonderfully! I actually went out and bought cookie sheets that would work better with my mats, that's how much I love them! lol
good to know! i have NOT liked my silicone mini muffin pan...in fact, i think i finally just threw it away it was so bad (and it wasn't a cheap one, either!). if i hadn't seen your review, i never would have looked at these.
You know, I've tried the silicone baking cups and pans, too, and did NOT like them at all. They got all mis-shapen and were difficult to clean and store. Plus, I could never get a good crust on breads or muffins.
But these pads produce a good texture for cookies and biscuits...no burning or sticking. To store the pads, I just roll them up like a log.
Hmmmm.....I have never even thought of buying these, but now I am thinking I might. I hate cookies that stick to the sheet.
